Workflows
NAUPLY plugins work together
Each NAUPLY plugin does one thing well. Chained in your music software, they cover a real journey: from a finished song to a beat, from a vocal take to a mix. Here are the workflows you can follow today, step by step, with the products and the edition you need.
How they work together today
The plugins chain together in your music software: Stems drops its stems as audio (and as MIDI in the Pro edition) with a simple drag and drop, then Studio Duo and Lontana go on those tracks, as inserts or on sends. They don't exchange settings automatically yet: every step stays in your hands.
From sample to beat
Isolate a drum loop or a bass line with Stems, drag it into your project as audio or MIDI, then color it with Lontana Mod and Delay.
Steps
- Separate the song
- Find the loop
- Drag the stem into your project
- Or replay it as MIDI (Pro)
- Add movement with Lontana Mod
- Add echoes with Lontana Delay
Edition needed
- NAUPLY Stems Premium to isolate drums or bass (up to 6 stems); the Free edition only separates vocals and instrumental.
- NAUPLY Stems Pro to transcribe a stem to MIDI and lock stems to the project tempo.
- Lontana Mod and Lontana Delay: free with a NAUPLY account.

Steps
- Build the chain with Vocora
- Match a reference's tone with Calqua
- Add echoes with Lontana Delay
- Place the vocal in a space with Lontana Reverb
Edition needed

Steps
- Extract the vocal
- Lock it to your project (Pro)
- Drop it into the project
- Give it a new space
- Lift the ends of phrases
Edition needed

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to buy every plugin to follow a workflow?
- No. Each workflow lists the products it uses and the edition needed. The Lontana effects are free with a NAUPLY account, and Stems has a free edition.
- Do NAUPLY plugins sync with each other?
- Not automatically yet: they chain together in your music software, track by track. Automatic key and tempo sharing (NAUPLY Link) is in preparation.
- Do these workflows work in my music software?
- Yes, in any software that loads VST3 or AU plugins, on Mac. Dragging stems out of Stems into your project works like dropping an audio file.
