Overview

Calqua captures the spectral curve of a reference and of your track, then computes the EQ that brings one closer to the other. You dose the result and smooth the curve to keep a natural sound.

Get started in 3 steps

  1. Put Calqua as an insert on the master or a bus and click LOAD REFERENCE to load a song you like: its first 30 seconds are analyzed.

  2. Play your song and click CAPTURE MY SIGNAL (20 seconds by default): the correction applies and the curve shows what goes up or down.

  3. Set AMOUNT (50 to 70% often sounds more natural) and MAX CORRECTION (6 to 9 dB), then compare with BYPASS, AUTO GAIN on.
