Overview

The signal is pitch-shifted inside the reverb loop, so it rises (or falls) with every pass. Single, Dual and Reverse modes, ±24 semitone shift, and a stabilized loop that never runs away.

Key features

  • Single, Dual (up + down) and Reverse modes
  • ±24 semitone pitch shift
  • Stabilized feedback loop, no runaway
  • 31 presets: pads, guitars, vocals, cinematic

Get started in 3 steps

  1. Put Lontana Shimmer on an aux (send) track or as an insert, and pick a preset: Pads > Classic Shimmer +12, Guitars > Post-Rock Swell, Vocals > Subtle Air…

  2. Choose the mode (Single, Dual or Reverse) and Shift (+12 = one octave up, +7 = a fifth), then Feedback: higher, the shimmer climbs more.

  3. Set Size and Decay, lower Tone if it is too bright, and blend with Mix (100% on a send, 20 to 40% as an insert).
