NAUPLY Lontana Delay interface

Overview

Three modes, and the interface only shows the controls of the active one. Digital for precision, Analog Warm for the wow and wear of tape, Mod for a BBD-style chorus. Feedback goes up to 110% for self-oscillating builds.

Key features

  • Digital, Analog Warm and Mod modes
  • Tempo sync with triplets and dotted notes, ping-pong
  • Saturated feedback up to 110%
  • 37 presets: slapback, vocal throws, dub, rhythmic

Get started in 3 steps

  1. Put Lontana Delay on an aux (send) track or as an insert, and pick a preset: Slapback > Rap Vocal Slap, Vocal Throws > Dotted Eighth Vocal, Tape & Dub > Dub Analog…

  2. Choose the mode (Digital, Analog Warm or Mod), switch Sync on and pick a division (1/8D = dotted eighth), then set Feedback (20 to 45% to start) and Ping-Pong.

  3. Blend with Mix (100% on a send, 15 to 30% as an insert) and soften the repeats with High Cut / Low Cut, Age or Character depending on the mode.
